Don Rigsby Departing Morehead State University

After 8 years as Director of Morehead State University’s Kentucky Center for Traditional Music, Don Rigsby will be leaving to pursue his music career full time.

After 8 years as Director of Morehead State University’s Kentucky Center for Traditional Music, Don Rigsby will be leaving to pursue his music career full time. A veteran with 20 years of experience in the music industry, Rigsby joined MSU in 2001.

Rigsby has released four solo albums to date and performed as a member of iconic bluegrass groups Longview, J. D. Crowe and the New South, and the Lonesome River Band.
